York, Maine. My father actually still lives in the same house we grew up in that he built. I’ve always loved sturdy and quirky New England style craftsman houses.
When did you move to Utah?
I ventured west in 2009 for the winter season presuming I would head back east and then I fell in love with all that Salt Lake has to offer-Amazing snow, hiking, rafting, a clean flourishing city amidst the most beautiful mountains.
What keeps you here?
The Energy! Salt Lake is such a remarkable city with wonderful weather that attracts positive people. There are so many options of activities to enjoy. If you are looking for something to be involved in you will find it here.
Education Level and Concentration?
I have a Bachelors degree as a Certified K-8 teacher. I’ve always loved to learn and grow and being a contributor to the next great rising of forward thinking and contribution is something I strongly believe in.
Prior work Background?
In my earlier years I was a camp counselor, director of t-ball, basketball and soccer at the York recreation Department. Through College I began serving at local restaurants in York and continued as a server at local establishments in Utah, downtown and Little Cottonwood Canyon. Serving has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people while having the flexibility to travel and explore.
Something interesting you love?
Although I moved to Utah to ski the "Most amazing snow on earth” I actually now enjoy rafting with my family during the summer even more. We are so fortunate to be so close to some of the best white water the country has to offer with fabulous weather and reasonable means of travel. My husband And I were lucky enough to depart on the Grand Canyon on Halloween a few years ago and being in such a mystical realm of the world has definitely invoked aspects of my soul I was previously unaware of.
What got you into Real estate?
I grew up accompanying my father to all sorts of houses refinishing and installing hard wood floors. It was in these less then exciting adventures that I began noticing and appreciating all the wonderfully unique attributes that makes each and every home special. There is so much great energy and love that goes into every house and helping someone find “their house” that they want to also contribute to and overflow with love makes me so fulfilled.
Something funny about you that you would like to share?
I've always considered myself a dog person and that I would never own a cat, but now I do and She truly is the best.
