Where are you originally from? Upstate New York

Years in Utah? 21 Years, I was lucky enough to get here in 2002 right before the Salt Lake Winter Olympics.

What brought you here? Mostly the Snowbird Tram:) I wanted to be a World Class Freeskier and I figured that surrounding yourself with the best was s good way to make that happen. Now I am doing the same thing in Real Estate by building an elite team of Realtors to perform World Class service for our clients.

What keeps you here? The amazing mountains that are right at our fingertips would probably still be #1. The people I have met here and the fantastic friends that all have a similar love of the outdoors are another thing that has kept me glued to Salt Lake. I really enjoy traveling the world, but SLC is best home base I can think of! Of course building our team, and taking care of our clients is the primary focus these days.

Prior work background? So many things! I was a Cable Guy, a Red Bull promoter, a Restaurant Server, a Beer Garden Server at Oktoberfest at Snowbird, a Restaurant Manager at Alta, a Credit Analyst at GMAC, a Deck Sander/Stainer, a Painter, a Christmas Light Hanger, ...and then finally I found the one that worked for me. I have been a licensed Realtor since 2009 and have never looked back.

Education Level and concentration? I have a BS in Finance and Marketing from The University at Albany with a minor in Economics. I also earned my MBA at the University of Utah with a concentration in Finance and Financial Accounting. I was supposed to go to Wall Street, but the Wasatch lured me in. I think that is for the better:)

Something interesting you love? A lot of people know me as a skier and Realtor. I also have a real love of rock climbing. Traveling to interesting and beautiful places to get my hands on rock is something that has driven my adventurous side for the last 20 years as much as anything else:)

Why you got into real estate? I wanted to build a career for myself that got me out of the office and involved in helping people with their financial future. I was a numbers guy before I became a sales guy, and still view my primary job as a financial consultant for my clients. It feels great to be a guide and advisor to our clients in the home buying and selling process, but to me it feels even better to know that they will have substantial long term financial benefits from making good choices in the real estate world. Helping people get those long term benefits is the best part of this career for me.

Something funny about you that you would like to share? Automatic sinks and hand soap dispensers do not care for me and rarely sense me. Perhaps it is due to my red hair:)
